What the tool accesses
- Basic profile information of the channel owner's account (scope
user.info.basic), used to confirm which account is connected. - Permission to upload videos as drafts (scope
video.upload).
What the tool stores
The access token and refresh token issued by TikTok are stored only on the channel owner's own computer, in a local file readable only by that user. Nothing is stored on any server.
What the tool does not do
- It does not collect, read, or store data about any other TikTok user.
- It does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.
- It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Deleting data
Revoking the app's permission in TikTok, or deleting the local token file, removes all access. No other copy of the data exists.
